EduComm Edutainment Keynote Session: David Pogue

Wednesday, June 17th, 12:30pm

Want the recipe for an entertaining EduComm lunchtime session? Take technology, add some humor, mix in a bit of music, and maybe even some magic, and you have David Pogue.

Pogue, the personal technology columnist for The New York Times and a regular correspondent for CBS News and CNBC's Power Lunch program, is an EduComm favorite. His keen insight and wry humor will be featured in a lunchtime "Edutainment" session. Edutainment? That's right, even though you'll laugh at his sometimes corny jokes, you'll walk away having learned something new. And who better to learn it from? Pogue is the author of more than 100 books, including his own "Missing Manual" series of titles that explain how to use everything from the iPhone to Windows Vista.

He'll talk about the latest social media and tech trends that educators are embracing, and he'll top it off with his tech-themed parodies of popular songs. It's an event that shouldn't be missed.

The EduComm Conference is produced by Professional Media Group, publisher of University Business magazine, the leading publication for higher education management.
